- TRANSIT SERVICE AND OPERATIONS PLANNER
Description
The Town of Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a dedicated, value-centered professional to serve in a responsible administrative position under the direction of our Transit Director to lead our transit service planning, outreach and education efforts; evaluation of routes and schedules; preparation and submittal of grant applications; and other administrative research and budgeting tasks. Hiring Range $85,141 - $99,331 DOQ.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, civil engineering, data analysis or related field, and 3 or more years’ experience in transit planning, scheduling, or data analysis with one of those years in data analysis.
Preference will be given to applicants that have grant and technical writing experience, GIS systems experience, and training and certifications in transit planning. Ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational, analytical, strategic and interpersonal skills. This position is full-time with full benefits.
