Company History
Pacific Western Transportation Ltd (PWT) is a privately-owned group of Canadian companies, including some that have been in business since 1957.
Pacific Western Transportation has become well known throughout Canada as a family enterprise and the Colborne family is actively involved in the management of the Corporation. The success of PWT can be directly attributed to a sole ownership business philosophy with a commitment to decentralized responsibilities and accountabilities. Local managers have the authority and the autonomy to make decisions that best serve the needs of our clients and employees.
With over five decades of experience operating under the same principles,, our approach to doing business has stimulated leadership, innovation and has allowed PWT to become a responsible employer of more than 3,300 personnel who are proud to say "I work for Pacific Western."
